Reaching Hand is registered as a charitable organization in the year 1996 at Bangalore, Karnataka, VIDE REGN NO.8546/95-96 under the charitable Trust Act.
Initially the aim of REACHING HAND was to help
needy and diligent children by providing them with scholarships.
A few years back REACHING HAND felt the need to do more and launched its project
'NEW HOME'. It is estimated that approximately 44 million children in India live without the basic necessities of life because of reasons such as having no parents or
having only one parent who is not able to support them.
NEW HOME aims at stepping into this
void and providing shelter, education and love
so that the children grow up to be responsible citizens of society.
Vision
Our vision is to Build,
Care and Serve for the deprived and the destitute by creating
a real and lasting change in their lives.
Reaching Hand's long term vision is to build
an old age home, childrens' home with educational facilities, and charitable clinics all in single vicinity that will primarily be located on the outskirts of Bangalore. We want to see this vision spread to other parts of India too.
