A group of businessmen and professionals felt the need to
give back to society. They put their heads and resources together to form Reaching Hand. The Trust was registered as a charitable organization (REGN NO.8546/95-96).
Initially the aim of REACHING HAND was to help
needy and diligent children by providing them with scholarships.
A few years back REACHING HAND felt the need to do more and launched its project
'NEW HOME'. It is estimated that approximately 44 million children in India live without the basic necessities of life because of reasons such as having no parents or
having only one parent who is not able to support them.
NEW HOME aims at stepping into this
void and providing shelter, education and love
so that the children grow up to be responsible citizens of society.
