NEW HOME (Location Map)
was started in January 2006. It presently functions from a
rented two-storey building, furnished with necessary cots,
beds, kitchen facilities, transportation vehicle, etc. At
present, we have 50 children (25 boys and 25 girls), cared
for by a husband and wife team playing the role of house
parents with 2 wardens and 3 helpers as staff . We are amazed to see the changes in the children since their enrolment into New Home. Their abilities, skills
and values have dramatically transformed. Making today's destitute children tomorrow's leaders is the motto behind VM Samuel's passion and vision for these children.
We are immensely encouraged by the results of the first New Home project
and as a result of which we have decided to start 2 more similar New Homes with an approximate of 100 children. We are looking for resources and the staff to establish the same. |
