Children’s Home (rented premises)to accommodate 25 children

and Residential School Project
We are
looking for sponsorships for buying a property on the
outskirts of Bangalore to home 300 destitute children from
across the nation through establishing Residential
Schools with high quality education .Cost towards
setting up a facility is around Rs 10 crores or 2.5
million USD.
Care
A) Home for the Aged
We can
lease 22000 sft of land in the municipal area of Udupi city,
Karnataka-India. Reaching Hand is venturing into this
caring project for needy senior citizens by constructing a
home for the aged. Land and the first stage of construction
to provide the basic infrastructure is Rs 1,45,80,000 or
USD 3,64,500.
B)Care for Widows
In a recent article featured by CNN, there are an estimated
40 million widows in India, the least fortunate of them
shunned and stripped of the life they lived when they were
married. Some of them don't even have the ability or the
skill to even earn their living.
Support

with a monthly support of Rs.1,00,000/- or USD 2,500.
Serve
A) Serve the children
We serve
children from city slums and distant villages through basic
literacy programs, Balawadis that are accompanied by
feeding programs (breakfast and lunch) for children
attending these literacy programs. Scholarships are provided
to deserving children who are financially unable to have
educational privileges. We have sponsored 217 children so
far and we wish to continue this process. The donations
could be of any amount .
B) Physically Challenged
We have a
vision to establish training centers for the disabled. We
have a group of people who are both deaf and mute. We wish
to train them with life skills so that they are
self-supportive and are able to live a dignified life.
