Our vision is to Build, Care and Serve for the deprived and the destitute by creating real and lasting change in their lives.

Mission & Strategy

1. Build: We establish childrens’ homes in areas where children who are deprived of basic necessities are nurtured in a home like environment through provision of new clothes, quality education, good nutrition, parental love and care. It is our vision to see these children grow out of the mindset that they are uncared for but to grow with great self-esteem and self-worth that they are actually part of a family.

2. Care: We have a burden to care for the old and the needy. We establish old age homes, charitable clinics, hospitals and feeding programs for the needy.

3. Serve: We serve children from city slums and distant villages through basic literacy programs, Balawadis that are accompanied by feeding programs (breakfast and lunch) for children attending these literacy programs. We also provide scholarships to deserving children of parents who are financially unable to provide educational privileges to their children. Reaching Hand has a vision to also establish training centres for the physically challenged.

Reaching Hand is a charitable trust registered in 1996. Currently, it is comprised of 6 honorary trustees who have dedicated themselves to bring the vision into reality
