My name is Giuseppe Arnone, I am from Italy, and I am a Master of Science student of Corporate Finance. I came to India in order to discover this amazing place, to give my contribution to the community development, and to find a new challenge out of my comfort zone.
Thanks to AIESEC, I learned about Reaching Hand and I decided to participate in the business development internship program. During my 6 weeks internship, I have been involved in the planning and organization of fundraising events and the searching of sponsor partners for Reaching Hand’s projects. Particularly, I was involved in a sport charity event for corporates.
I consider this experience as one of the best of my life. It allowed me to improve my managerial and communication skills, my working attitude, and especially allowed me to be in very close contact with locals. I had the opportunity to expand my network meeting several managers from all the major companies settled in Bangalore, and I also made great friends.
I visited Reaching Hand’s schools and the orphanage and I was glad to see the concrete help of this NGO for the Indian community.
Since the first day I arrived at Reaching Hand, I felt like I was at home. The environment is really friendly and all the people working here are amazing.
I am really glad to have been volunteering in such an awesome NGO and I hope to come back soon.
Thank you Reaching Hand.
