WHAT IS ‘SWACHHTA KI PATHSHALA’?
The ‘Swachhta Ki Pathshala’ campaign aims to influence and inspire positive behaviors and attitudes among children with regard to WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene).
The objective of the campaign would be to:
(i) Influence and inspire positive behaviors and attitudes among children with regard to WASH.
(ii) Engage key stakeholders, communities’ leaders, head of organizations, and other influencers to contribute time, skill and expertise in order to support the program.
(iii) To create and sustain a cleaner ecosystem at the school and community levels so that proper WASH habits can be implemented, practiced and maintained.
HOW CAN YOU BE INVOLVED?
In order to execute the project, we will require your support in terms of employee/volunteer engagement and sponsorship.
Employee / Volunteer Engagement
We invite teams from corporate companies, organizations, institutions etc. The teams would include leaders and influencers such as CEO’s, head of departments, etc. from the respective organization as well as employees and volunteers. The team is expected to contribute both skill and time toward the program.
A ‘Swachhta Ki Pathshala’ program would typically be half-day long (about 4-5 hours). The program will consist primarily of an indoor and an outdoor session: The Indoor Session will be an interactive session to create awareness on cleanliness and hygiene, and the Outdoor Session will involve cleaning and painting of the school premises.
The estimated cost per school to conduct a ‘Swachhta’ program is ₹ 20,000/-. This would include cost of materials for activities, overhead costs, and snacks for students.
We wish to start the campaign in the month of June, and will continue until the end of the school academic year.
